Abstract

A variety of surgical procedure including open thoracotomy, closed thoracotomy, thoracoplasty, decortication and pneumonectomy were performed in 22 cases of empyema caused by various etiology which we have experienced during year. (Jan. 1966-Feb. 1967) We discuss briefly of some reference in addition the result.
