2 . The probable course for intractability were, in the majority (196 cases: 63.8 %), ignorance or indifference of treatment followed by regular or single drug regimen and insufficient dosage (181 cases 59 %), delay in initial discovery (54 cases 50 %), poverty (143 cases 47 %), herb medicine (39 cases 13 %), misdiagnosis or incorrect guidance by physician or pharmacist cases (22 cases 7%), refusal of surgery (12 cases 4.5 %).
