A Case Report Psychological Side Effect induced by the Administration of Cycloserine Following the Pulmonary Resection

Abstract
A resection of the right upper lobe of the lung was carried out on a twenty-six-year-old Korean male, who due to a long-term chemotherapy, had Shown resistance to Atni-TB drugs. After the operation, 0.25mg. Cycloselyne was administered-orally twice a day with a view to controlling possible postoperative complications. Toward the end of this treatment, the patient developed mental disorder. Thus, Cycluserine was discontinued. The patient was then successfully treated by administration of chlorpromazine for 20 days.
