Abstract
Judging from the result of this study, It is apparent that the multiple reading and the determination of the time and size of the maximal intensity of the reaction give much information about the course of tuberculin reaction which can not be obtained by a sing reading at any one time during the course of the reaction. The study was investigated for BCG vaccinatee and non vaccinatee with PPD RT 23 Korean old tuberculin by the multiple reading. The result shows that the maximal intensity of the reaction was found at 72 hours after injection with PPD RT 23 for either BCG vaccinatee and non vaccinatee. while the Korean old tuberculin shows the maximal intensity of the reaction at 48 hours after injection by erythema, there is no difference between 48 and 72 hours after injection by induration. The reasonable time of reading to be suggested is 72 hours after injection with PPD RT 23.
