Clinical Study of Acute Renal Insufficiency after Pulmonary Resection

Abstract
Since Korea War the acute renal insufficiency has been closed up as an important complication in surgery and caused to death. 5 cases of postoperative acute renal insufficiency, of which 3 were dead and 2 were alive, were presented. The author noticed that the acute renal insufficiencies were caused by the overloading of blood transfusion in order to rise the postoperative fall of blood pressure and even the renal toxin due to PAS in the cases of long history of pulmonary tuberculosis. Brief summary of their clinical features and management was described.
