Abstract
We have experienced two cases of foreign bodies in the tracheobronchial tree which defy the grasp of extraction forceps. Attempts to grasp the foreign body with various forceps was unsuccessful. Case 1 was due to traumatic missing of tooth by traffic accident and the other was by iatrogenic tooth trauma during endotrachial intubation. We described the successful use of the Fogarty arterial embolectomy catheter by inserting behind the foreign body.
