salmonellosis is commonly encountered in Korea but bronchopulmonary salmonellosis such as bronchopneumonia, pleural effusion, empyema is not common. We experienced a case of empyema caused by Sa Jmonella enteritidis isolated form culture of needle aspirate in 26 year-old Korean female
